SCHIAPARELLI ANGLOMANIAC2026
EDITED BY THIERRY-MAXIME LORIOT
INTRODUCTION BY DUA LIPA

256 PAGES

With an introduction a foreword by Dua Lipa, Schiaparelli Anglomaniac features an historical-critical essay by Thierry-Maxime Loriot and a text by Robin Muir about the historical collaborations between the house of Schiaparelli and Cecil Beaton. The book features many unpublished images and artworks recently discovered and published for the first time, with interviews with Nick Knight, Stephen Jones, Dame Pat McGrath, Guido Palau and Nadia Lee Cohen, additional texts by Trino Verkade.

Since the arrival of Daniel Roseberry at Schiaparelli, his unique perspective and boundless creativity have inspired a group of British artists, photographers, illustrators, performers, fashion editors, make-up artists and hairstylists. These conversations, in the tradition of Elsa Schiaparelli, highlight the work and the vision of multi-generational contemporary creatives, recognising their importance in the current cultural landscape. This book, reflects those discussions and brings together close to fifty artists, including historic photographers such as Cecil Beaton and Norman Parkinson, established artists like Nick Knight, Tim Walker and Pat McGrath, as well as the younger generation, including Nadine Ijewere, Campbell Addy, Felix Cooper, Nadia Lee Cohen, Jack Davison, Tom Craig and Harley Weir.

This group of close collaborators and friends of the house, which spans various fields, backgrounds and generations, shares an open vision of today’s society, reacting and responding to the work of a single creative mind. This book celebrates diversity, pluralistic beauty, the wit of some and the technical mastery of others. The British artists featured herein have reinvented and subverted the established codes of both a house and an industry through their lens, their brushstrokes and their touch, each asserting their identity in the process. Daniel Roseberry’s one-of-a-kind approach allows each of us to immerse ourselves in the bustling energy of both street and popular culture, and into the dreamy world created by the exquisite haute couture craftsmanship he has injected in the fashion house. Rather than dwelling on the past, Roseberry has propelled Schiaparelli into the future.
